*Put down more clover seed in back yard...try to stay ahead of voracious chickens so they may have grass on which to begin our rotational grazing plan.
*Loosen the soil in two more garden beds
*Start the Sungold tomato seeds
*Fold 150 newspaper seedling pots
*Start new roosting racks for the new coop
*Farmer's Market meeting at noon on Saturday, downtown
Buy:
Tea pot
more clover seed
groceries for next week

Do:
Laundry
clean and crate eggs
figure out how to manage humidity in incubator
check quail egg auctions
plan out breeding peen and where to put it
get pricing on gravel and dirt
get pricing on renting a rototiller

Today I'd like a do over.
Last night was funny, I fell asleep then the cat sat on my CPAP machine and turned it off, so I woke up gasping for air. I went back to sleep and about fifteen minutes later woke up with Smeg pinching my ass *hard*. I woke her up and asked why she was pinching my ass, she had no clue, but eventually said she was dreaming that the cat was on my pillow and she was pinching it to get it off. We both laughed and went back to sleep.
This morning on the way to work, I hit a squirrel and sobbed because I felt so bad. I *tried* to avoid it, almost went off the road and still managed to hit it.
Now I've got an email from Mara's teacher wanting to talk about, "some concerns about Mara with regards to paying attention, completing homework, and organization." I fucking told her that Mara is not the type of kid that can have their entire homework system changed, with no help at home and no reminders and be expected to do it. Her brain just doesn't work that way. Not to mention that Mike does jack shit to help her with her homework and on her first assigment of the year, checked a page she'd done, told her it was great even though she'd missed *Every* problem.
I'm tired and grumpy and feeling like a crappy human being and even worse parent.

Hello! I'm now here on IJ, hopefully more full time than I've been on LJ lately. I'm a bad blogger.
